Our cultural heritage has now been accepted onto the list of major projects as part of the Cultural Olympiad in 2012. This is a highly significant development, which, places heritage firmly alongside the performing and visual arts, museums, film and other cultural projects in the four-year celebration of the UK's culture leading up to the Olympics. Bill Morris and Fran Hegyi from the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Para-olympic Games (LOCOG) have endorsed the significance that heritage will play between now and 2012 and have stated that there should be plans for UK-wide activity and events.
Historical Promotions and Event Management has designed a World of Culture event programme for our clients that features cultural entertainment, music, dance and street theatre comprising worldwide themes and performances.
This programme is ideal for local authorities and show and festival organisers who wish to promote their towns, cities and events in the run up to the Cultural Olympiad or during the celebratory year.
It is advisable to book well in advance to ensure that the full benefits of the event are gained for your project and event programme.
